NBA Cat Club

NBA Cat Club is a club for all breeders to learn more about breeding. We started off as a group for new breeders but we now have over 230 members who have various experience in the cat world from those who have been breeding for over 25 years to those just choosing their breed.

We have arranged for two seminars to take place in May 2004 with Guest Speaker "Dr Susan Little" flying over from Canada, for more information on these please visit the club website.

The CatTica All Breed Cat Club was founded in 2003 and is affiliated to TICA, The International Cat Association.  The Club was set up to offer breeders in the UK the chance of an alternative registering body.  As most breeders have started importing since the new Pet Passport Laws were extended a lot of these cats are already registered with TICA.  So we realised that there was a huge need for TICA to be properly represented in the UK.

TICA is an International Association so not only do they cover America/Canada but also Europe and the rest of the world.

We are one of the first affiliated TICA Clubs in the UK and are in the process of organising our first show in October 2004

The "SRPCC" caters especially for the non-pedigree cat and holds an annual Pet Cat Show on the 3rd Saturday of February. We also run members' "rewards" schemes such as an annual Points Trophy and an ongoing "Purrsonality Awards" scheme where cats can "claw" their way up the ladder to the ultimate Gold Award based on Open Class wins at Championship shows.

We are usually present at most northern shows with the Club stall and/or cats and are always available for help and advice. Membership (which includes the associated registered charity) is £4.50pa single, £7.00pa joint and £10.50pa family. Cat ownership is not essential!
