Bloomington Obedience Training Club BOTC has been a tradition for over 40 years. It was formed in 1956 by a group of individuals committed to the concept of helping people train their dogs to be better pets. BOTC is a dog obedience training club advocating and practicing a positive motivational training method. BOTC is an all volunteer club. We have obedience, flyball, conformation and agility classes.

CAANA meets every Thursday night in Mount Uniacke Nova Scotia. We have a variety of pure breeds and All Canadian dogs to have fun with. On Track Canine College We offer the following classes: Household Obedience - the basics. Heel, Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Come front, Finish, Figure 8's, Take it, Leave it, Go to your bed, Watch Me, Hide and Seek. We also teach basic grooming techniques, nutrition, nail clipping, head to toe checks, etc. Novice Agility - learn all the equipment to compete in NADAC, USDAA, AKC, and AAC trials. Intermediate Agility - work on the handler/dog relationship. Body language. Go's Outs, Here's, contacts, etc. Puppy - for pups 3-5 months. All the basics of puppydom. Socialisation, very basic obedience, house training tips, behavioural issues, confidence building, etc. Our Club grew out of the classes we teach. People were looking for a support system and a place to continue learning and practising. (There's safety in numbers, especially when you start competing in agility.) |
